Compliance by one party with the terms and conditions of another's offer so that a contract becomes legally binding between them.

向要保人表示同意而与其签订合同的意思表示，一旦承诺，合同即告成立。在保险合同中，保险人通常通过签发保险单表示同意承保的意愿，同时收取投保人缴纳的保险费。
