在网上搜到两个译本,坦率地说,翻译四句佛偈的人不懂佛经,起码连查查词典都不会。
因此在翻译之前有必要简单地解释一些佛教术语。
(1)有为法:指因缘和合而生的一切理法。
评析:
译文#1:把“有为法”译为一切事物都有它的规则。--不懂佛教的术语,一看就露馅。
译文#2:把“有为法”译为人类的五官所能感受的。--同样不懂佛教术语,一看也露馅。举例来,象细微的生物,不知这位译者能感受到吗?
(2)
译文#2的PS的一切事物人类感官所能感受到的译为是真实的,不变的和永恒的。这与佛教教义及本佛偈的精神相违背。佛教的基本教义之一是万物皆虚空。
(3)
译文#1 在本佛偈中把“有为法”的六喻减为三喻。
